Lost My Exhaust!

I have been listening to my exhaust pipe rattle around for quite some time now on my Cherokee. I knew the muffler was rusting and a hanger had rusted all the way off, but I just did not make the time or spend the money to fix it. Last week we took a 380 mile trip to be at a family wedding. Wouldn’t ya know it on the way back, not an hour into the drive, “clang-scrape-cling-a-clang” along with a much louder engine drone surprised us as we were going about 70 on the interstate! Yep….. the exhaust pipe was just dangling there hooked around the axle. After a long, loud, six-hour drive home I figured I better do something about that exhaust before the whole family became deaf. So I hopped on Amazon and ordered a new Walker muffler and tailpipe. You can find the same ones on my shopping list here. In just a couple of days I was under my Cherokee installing the new setup!
